Tasted at the château next to the previous 6 vintages, this was the clear standout. Luxuriantly rich and floral with intense, velvety tannins. The palate offers ripe mulberry fruit, chocolate, spice, plum and blackcurrant crumble flavours. It’s very concentrated and dense but with great freshness and a long, pure finish - seriously delicious. Drink from around 2017 to 2030.
