The harvest was brought in over four tries from early September to the 19th October. Excellent noble rot developed on perfectly ripe grapes, providing perfect raw materials for top quality Sauternes. This is an opulent and beautifully elegant wine, which seems effortlessly rich. Intense flavours of lime-meringue cream and lemon barley sugar wash across a palate, which is hugely sweet but still fresh and bright. Very slightly lower acid and more sweetness than the benchmark 2001. Drink from 2018 to 2060.
